Avon, Colo. – Vail Valley Young Professionals Association is now Young & Emerging Professionals (YEP) Vail Valley! Vail Valley Works is thrilled to launch this new, membership-based program for young professionals. Living in the mountains is incredible, but building meaningful connections and career momentum here can be hard. YEP exists to make it easier and believes that when young professionals are supported, the entire valley thrives.

“We’re grateful for the VVYPA team and the work they did prior to YEP, supporting young professionals in the Vail Valley,” notes OIivia Asavei, VVP Member Services Manager. “We’re very motivated to run with this ball and reinvigorate young professional programming in the Vail Valley. This effort closely aligns with our mission and vision.”

“Young professionals are the future of our economic success,” shares Anna Robinson, Director of Vail Valley Works, who has overseen the rebranding and launch of YEP. “We are honored to take the torch from VVYPA and offer resources to the next generation of our workforce.”

Who should join? Anyone who can answer ‘YEP’ to any of the following questions:

· Are you 18 – 35?

· Launching your career or switching paths?

· New to the Valley or looking to expand your circle?

· Interested in building community, leadership, and professional growth?

We’re bringing together ambitious, curious, community-minded young and emerging professionals to:

· Build real relationships (not awkward networking)

· Develop practical, career-ready skills

· Grow confidence, leadership, and purpose

· Feel rooted in the Vail Valley community

YEP membership starts at $50/person annually for individuals whose organizations are VVP members and costs just $75/person annually for nonmembers. Certain Vail Valley Partnership membership tiers include YEP memberships for employees. Check your organization’s membership status here.

YEP will kick off its programming in May, with coffee and headshots at Loaded Joe’s in Avon. Members of YEP can meet other young professionals in the Vail Valley, grab a coffee, and get professional headshots taken by local photographers. Even if you’re on the fence about membership, you’re welcome to show up for free coffee and networking! Future events will be announced soon!
