Position Summary
The Admissions Coordinator, Volunteers supports the mission of Roundup River Ranch by guiding volunteers through an inclusive, engaging, and customer-focused admissions process. As part of the Admissions team, this role plays a vital part in stewarding volunteers and ensuring a smooth and positive application and onboarding experience. The position requires strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and experience managing databases or applicant tracking systems. Based primarily at the Roundup River Ranch campsite in Gypsum, this role also includes travel within the local region and to the Front Range to support recruitment efforts and volunteer engagement.
Areas of Responsibility
The Admissions Coordinator manages key components of the volunteer recruitment and admissions process, including reviewing and ensuring the completion of applications, coordinating interviews, maintaining accurate records in the database, and communicating with applicants throughout the process. This role serves as a primary point of contact for volunteers, providing excellent customer service and timely support while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and medical requirements. Additional responsibilities include supporting volunteer training and orientation, assisting with onsite logistics during summer and family camp sessions, coordinating volunteer transportation needs, and supporting recruitment efforts through community outreach and events. The role also helps promote volunteer opportunities to Spanish-speaking communities and provides resources and assistance to Spanish-speaking applicants.
