Headwaters at the Theater - A cinematic evening to celebrate our river and inspire our community

Tuesday, June 16, 2026 (5:00 PM - 8:00 PM) (MDT)

Description

You’re invited to join the Eagle River Coalition and the Eagle River Fund as we co-host a showing of “The River,” an award-winning feature-length documentary, complete with an expert panel including locals featured in the video, the director, and speakers representing the groups that protect the Eagle River. We'll have prize drawings and giveaways for those who come to this family-friendly community event!

Reserve your seat here.

We request a donation of $10 for this event, which will be split between Eagle River Coalition and Eagle River Fund to support local work. If you wish to come, but are unable to make a donation, we welcome you and hope that you will join us by signing up using the Free Registration Option at signup. You can also select the Pay it Forward option to cover the requested donation on behalf of someone else. We hope you will join!

The Eagle River annually contributes 3% of the Colorado River’s total flows and we find ourselves in its headwaters region. With drought conditions breaking historical records, our community needs to come together to take action to protect local rivers more than ever before.
